Shaadi Ka Aadhaar uses information to operate candidate accounts, support introductions and manage the review and payment functions described on this website. Privacy requests can be sent to info@shadikaadhar.com. Please use the email associated with your account when possible.
Information you provide
An account uses an email address and may be linked to Google sign-in. Profiles may include a display name, private legal name and date of birth, gender, location, education, work, lifestyle, family and partner preferences. Optional phone numbers and photos have separate controls. Only provide family details you have permission to share.
Website enquiries
The contact form collects your name, email address, chosen topic, message and consent so the team can respond. Authorised support staff can see your enquiry and record internal handling notes. The email address is encrypted in the application database. Enquiries are kept for support and related dispute handling, then reviewed for deletion under the operator’s retention process. You may contact support about correction or deletion.
Private evidence and checks
If enabled, supported identity, education, work, income or marital-status evidence can be submitted for review. Original files are kept in protected encrypted storage outside the public media area. Access is limited to the owner and staff with the appropriate review permission. The identity bridge records permitted results and references; the portal does not offer a public Aadhaar-number lookup.
What other members can see
A discoverable profile shows selected information such as display name, age, city, introduction and permitted profile details. Exact birth date and legal evidence are not part of the public member card. Contacts, photos, employer information and income summaries follow the relevant sharing controls. A purchased credit does not override consent.
Why information is used
Information supports login, profile publication, preferences and discovery, mutual-interest conversations, evidence review, payment/credit accounting, notifications, abuse prevention and support. Technical records such as limited rate-control identifiers and audit events support security and operational review.
External services
Where enabled, email, Google sign-in, Razorpay, approved identity/SMS providers and browser push services process information needed for their own function. Payment card or UPI credentials are entered with the payment provider, not stored as profile fields. Provider availability and practices depend on the operator’s actual configuration. Ask support if you need details of providers used for your transaction or check.
Your controls
You may edit your profile, change visibility, revoke supported permissions, opt out of optional email/web notifications, remove a family helper, block an account, pause discovery or request closure. A profile/account export is available. For a broader access, correction or deletion request, contact support so it can be assessed without exposing another participant’s information.
Retention and closure
Closing an account hides the profile and creates a deletion request; it does not instantly delete every record. Evidence and other personal content are reviewed for deletion, while payment, dispute, security or legally required records may need retention. Backup and provider records also require separate handling. Ask support about the status and applicable retention for your request.
Cookies and device storage
First-party login/security cookies and small interface preferences support the service. Optional web notifications require browser permission. The app’s offline cache holds selected public assets, not private profiles, messages or original documents. See the Cookie policy for more detail.
Contact and important boundaries
Do not send identity numbers, raw tax files, passwords or OTPs by general enquiry. This service is intended for adult candidates and does not publish children’s profiles. Website lifestyle photographs are illustrations, not real member profiles or success testimonials.
