A thoughtful connection starts with sensible boundaries

Practical matrimonial safety guidance: protect personal information, recognise money requests, meet carefully and report concerning behaviour.

A verification badge adds information about a specific check. Continue to use judgement throughout your conversations and meetings.

Keep early conversations on the platform

Use mutual-interest chat while you get to know someone. Avoid sharing your exact home address, travel routine, workplace access details or financial documents in a public biography. You control when contact details are released.

Treat money requests as a reason to stop

Be cautious about urgent transfers, investment offers, fees to “release” a parcel, requests to receive money on someone’s behalf or a person asking for your UPI PIN. Do not share OTPs, passwords, bank logins or remote access to your device.

Notice pressure and inconsistencies

Repeatedly changing personal stories, pressure to leave the platform, refusal to respect a boundary or a demand for secrecy deserve attention. Ask a clear question, save relevant messages and slow down. Do not publicly accuse someone or publish their documents.

Plan an early meeting carefully

Choose a public place you are comfortable with, make your own travel arrangements and tell a trusted person your plan. You can end a meeting or decline further contact without explaining more than you want to.

Report and block

Use Report on the profile or submit a private support request. Give a concise description and relevant profile/order references. Blocking prevents further profile and chat access through the supported member flow. Do not email raw Aadhaar, tax records or unrelated third-party information.

If a financial cybercrime has occurred

Contact your bank or payment provider promptly and use India’s National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal. For immediate physical danger, contact local emergency services. A website report is not a replacement for contacting the appropriate authorities.
